Guest Speaker Reactions: Ali Felski
Ali is a Flash Designer/Developer with true talent, proven at her site. I have met her on the DC scene through Jackson Wilkinson (her BFF). She spoke to the students about the perils of Flash Development and how most many people think that to use Flash on a website you need to make a Flash animation that takes up the whole screen with the entire site encapsulated into that animation. Simply put, not true. She helped dispel this myth, which as a web teacher you have no idea how glad i am to hear people telling my students that. She also highlighted some sites that she thinks have pulled it off effectively. I won’t go into too much more detail as you can listen for yourself. It is so refreshing to hear people preaching the correct way to use Flash because the students come in with so many misconceptions about it. Thanks Ali!
