Teach Me the Web

You’ve heard so much about JQuery but your just not sure what its all about, huh?

I can feel your pain there, not necessarily with JQuery, but it has happened to me plenty of times.  You hear about a new technology and you visit the website 200 times and read everything you can about it, but it still doesn’t click.

Joe Grossberg is a web developer who works from the comfort of his home for Revolution Health Group.  On December 12th Joe spoke to the Advanced Web Tools students regarding a couple topics, the primary one introducing the Jquery library.  His timing was impeccable because we had been discussing Javascript and were about to jump into javascript libraries.  In addition, he spoke about what its like to work from home, how do teams collaborate over distances.  It was a nice multi-topic presentation, one which we thoroughly enjoyed.
